Our clients generally fall into one of three categories.
Small Businesses 1-10 staff. These clients require support for all of their technology needs. They do not anticipate much growth and generally have a very long term relationship with Whitehorse Technology Solutions. They generally want one phone number to call as a silver bullet to solve all their technical needs. They expect to be kept working efficiently and apprised of technical advances and trends that may benefit them. Whitehorse Technology Solutions will learn a lot about their business processes to keep them competitive.
Medium Businesses 10-100 staff. These businesses - frequently startups - have rapid growth and need an Information Technology Infrastructure that will grow with them. Therefore, everything must be designed and implemented with growth in mind. They generally start off with Whitehorse Technology Solutions fulfilling all of their Information Technology needs, but will eventually bring in a staff person to run helpdesk type operations. Whitehorse Technology Solutions is then contracted to just support the servers, WAN, Active Directory, firewall appliances and other complex systems. Whitehorse Technology Solutions can either supply a helpdesk person to reside onsite full or part time, or train the staff person up to the required level. The relationship usually lasts for a number of years and we love to help these businesses grow from a few personnel to a flourishing national or multinational presence.
Large Businesses 100+ staff. These organizations bring in Whitehorse Technology Solutions for either of two reasons. 1) They just do not have enough man-hours each week to complete all their operations. Whitehorse Technology Solutions will provide an engineer scheduled to be on site one day a week just to augment the in-house staff. 2) Special Projects. These tend to be time limited projects that are either beyond the expertise of the in house personnel or they are just too busy. Examples are WAN VPN connections, Active Directory migrations and compliance requirements and audits.
