It can be very frustrating for an individual if he or she is not able to get Goodlink to work seamlessly with the Exchange support and Blackberry Support or Treo support. However, there are several easy ways to rectify this problem and to get the Goodlink to work seamlessly with the exchange. To get everything working together, the first thing that a corporate organization needs to do is to make sure to install the Exchange support on the same server in which the organization plans to install the GoodLink software. Corporate organizations should be aware that GoodLink also prescribes downloading Hotfix on the Exchange support to prevent any memory leaks from occurring. The trick to getting GoodLink to work well with handheld devices has a lot to do with downloading and configuring the Goodlink file in the proper fashion. Corporate organizations also need to get their exchange support server configured so that it will work with GoodLink. For GoodLink to work, it needs a domain user account with specific access rights to the Exchange information store. The GoodLink documentation calls this account GoodAdmin. Corporate organizations need to make sure that they will create this account within their Active Directory organization. Back To Articles... |
